My conference calendar was fairly light this year, and one event stood out high above the rest for me - the MarketingProfs Digital Marketing Mixer in Scottsdale.
I had the pleasure of speaking on a panel with Austin Bliss and Angie Belknap about list growth strategies [click here to download the handout]. We presented to a nearly packed house, which was quite encouraging, because we were opposite Gary Vaynerchuck 'speaking' next door. In fact, between Garyvee, Arrianna Huffington, Chris Brogan, Mack Collier, Frank Eliason, Connie Reece, Jason Baer, CC Chapman (and many others) - Ann Handley assembled an unprecedented powerhouse of social media talent for the event and the program was terrific. The original social media (email), was also well represented by Stephanie Miller, David Baker and others.
The event will be held in Chicago in 2009 ; I will surely be there and suggest you save the date too.
